The Jersey Shore star, whose real name is Nicole Polizzi, has hired New York firm SRG Ventures to oversee the rollout of licensed Snooki products, the New York Post reports. Snooki trademarks, like fuzzy slippers, flashy jewelry and giant sunglasses, will kick off the line, with denim, sportswear, lingerie, handbags, personal care, beauty products and home goods hopefully to follow, Stephen Goodman of SRG Ventures told the paper.

Jersey Shore is a reality television series on MTV that follows eight housemates spending their summer on the Jersey Shore. The first season was filmed in August 2009 in a summer share in Seaside Heights but was also filmed in other towns such as Toms River, Neptune and Atlantic City, New Jersey. The show debuted amid large amounts of controversy regarding the use of the words “Guido/Guidette”, portrayals of Italian-American stereotypes and scrutiny from locals because the cast members were not residents of the area.[1][2][3] The theme song featured in the opening credits is “Get Crazy” by LMFAO. Following the success of the first season, MTV announced in January 2010 that a second season consisting of 12 episodes had been ordered and would air that summer.[4] It would follow all of the first season cast as they escape the cold northeast and find themselves in Miami.[4] The second season premiered on July 29, 2010.[5] On July 20, 2010, MTV announced that the entire cast, with the exception of Angelina, would return for a third season to be shot back in Seaside Heights, New Jersey and scheduled to air later.[6][7] MTV has since exported the series to dozens of countries worldwide.
Summer may be over for Snooki, The Situation and the rest of the gang, but Jersey Shore will soon be back to heat up winter. The third season of the MTV reality series will premiere on Jan. 6, according to The Hollywood Reporter.
"All the relationships start taking a turn, some for the good, some for the bad," co-creator and executive producer SallyAnn Salsano told the site about the new season.

'Hot in Cleveland' star Valerie Bertinelli Ties the Knot
Actress Valerie Bertinelli has tied the knot in Malibu.
Publicist Heidi Schaeffer told The Associated Press that the 50-year-old "Hot in Cleveland" star married financial planner Tom Vitale Saturday.
Schaeffer said in an email that a report by People Magazine of the wedding was accurate.
The ceremony took place in front of about 100 people at her home, according to People.
Guests included Bertinelli's ex-husband — rocker Eddie Van Halen — and their son Wolfgang. Bertinelli and Van Halen split in 2000 and were officially divorced in 2007.
Bertinelli stars in the TV Land sitcom "Hot in Cleveland" and serves as a TV spokeswoman for the Jenny Craig weight loss system. She first found fame as star of the 1980s sitcom "One Day at a Time."
She and the 49-year-old Vitale had been dating for seven years and were engaged during an Italian vacation in March.

Review: Desperate Housewives 7.11 "Assassins"
Well, that was a twist. Sort of.
After a short hiatus, Desperate Housewives returned to answer the question left on the minds of fans after the conclusion of the last episode before the winter break: Who Shot Paul Young?
Did we find out who it was? Nope. Although, we were thrown a lot of red herrings and the semi-twist mentioned at the start of this review. Meanwhile, the five main ladies dealt with their own issues this week as Things of Old returned and bit each woman in the behind with the fervor of a rabid dog.
Red Herrings, Red Herrings Everywhere...
As mentioned above, Paul Young's shooter was hinted at but eventually ended up being several red herrings by the end of the night with no culprit (savior?) in sight. At first glance, you thought it was Beth, who went to visit Felicia, thinking it was her behind the job. Felicia played dumb, but called her source on the street, who revealed themselves to be Mike Delfino. For the rest of the hour, it looked as if Mike was the man who pulled the trigger - but he wasn't. So, we are still left without an answer to who shot Paul Young, but that could be a good thing. The 'Who Shot J.R.?' mystery of Dallas wasn't immediately solved right away, playing for several weeks until the perp was revealed. Maybe DH will do the same thing, but to do so they must be pretty crafty with it and not turn it into a bore.
Meanwhile, the two latest unlucky detectives assigned to Paul's case have a lot on their hands. After realizing that all of the neighbors on the lane have a motive (in a pretty well-structured montage scene), the two detectives pick up on Beth's quirkiness when asked if she knew about anyone with ill intent to harm Paul. After some digging into Beth's past (which wasn't hidden well), Paul is informed of the connection between Beth and Felicia Tillman. With this revelation out in the open, one must wonder which will be put into motion first: the reveal of Paul's shooter or Paul's attempt to kill off Beth?
Everything's Out in the Open
Lynette finally learned of Tom and Renee's fling, while we found out it took place while Lynette went out of town to visit her mother all those years ago. Turns out that Renee was pretty much rebound sex after Tom and Lynette called it quits for a brief period during their engagement period. As if that made it okay. The more shocking aspect out of the entire debacle is how Lynette took the news. Despite an epic brawl in the restaurant with Renee, Lynette took the quiet but deadly approach, asking Renee not to reveal to Tom that she knows. Here's hoping that Lynette does more than burn Tom's tongue a few times to get him to talk.
Madness Ascends
Gaby is being beaten up from all cylinders this year to the point that it's getting close to calling it blatant abuse. Juanita is traumatized and that is understandable, but Gaby is also a victim as well, which is something Carlos seriously needs to get in his thickly moussed head. As for just casting off Grace as if she never existed, that's something you can't just do overnight. That's your flesh and blood. Your seed. While that fact doesn't mean Grace holds more water than Juanita does, it still means that Grace is family. Nobody asked for the storm that landed on their front porch, but they got to deal with it instead of sweeping it in the closet of ever-growing secrets. Because with all unhealthy secrets, they fester and becoming something even more monstrous than the seed that created it. In this case it is Gaby's apparent, but slow, descent into madness as she purchases a doll to remind her of Grace. Be afraid. Be very afraid, people.
Sickness Strikes Another Housewife
Susan's trampling from the riot has left her without a perfectly, good kidney. The other kidney is deformed and not healthy, which means Susan will have to go on dialysis. After a scary collapsing scene, Susan accepted her new treatment after contemplating going the alternative root with herbal treatment. It will be pretty interesting to see how this storyline goes, especially with Paul Young pretty much down the hall from Susan's room.
The "Third and/or Fourth Wheel"
While the other ladies didn't get any closure in storylines this week, Bree managed to get a happy ending despite the reappearance of Orson, who seemed pretty hellbent on winning Bree back. Despite Orson's lying and jabs at Keith's demeanor and personality, Bree still stuck by her new young guy and even got muddy to prove her point. While this is all fine and dandy, it doesn't seems like Orson will lose that easily.
While the episode was titled "Assassins," there was little to chew on concerning the new overall mystery of 'Who Shot Paul Young?' However, one could say the "assassins" in question could be metaphors for the Wisteria Lane residents' past taking aim at their present and showing no mercy. While it was a pretty eventful episode by setting up the second half of the season, it will only hold water if the subsequent episodes improve upon it.

'Little Fockers' Remains On Top Position For Second Straight Weekend
There were no new releases out over the New Year's weekend, so it was a close battle for the top spot at the weekend box office between Ben Stiller's "Little Fockers" and "True Grit."
In the end, the "Fockers" were able to hold on to #1 for the second weekend in a row with $26.3 million. Now, it's domestic haul is $103.2 million.
"True Grit" closely followed with $24.5 million to hold the #2 slot for the second-straight weekend, lifting its total to $86.8 million and becoming the top-grossing film ever from directors Joel and Ethan Coen. Their previous best was $74.3 million for "No Country for Old Men."
The #3 film was the same from last weekend -- Disney's sci-fi sequel "Tron: Legacy". It earned $18.3 million, while Dan Aykroyd's family flick "Yogi Bear," climbed on spot to come in fourth with $13 million.
Closing out the top 5 was "The Chronicles of Narnia," earning $10.5 million to take it to $87.1 million after four weeks in theaters.
According to the Associated Press, Hollywood is off to a slow start in 2011, with overall revenues at $158 million, down 28 percent from New Year's weekend a year ago.
That's a wrap for this weekend. Next weekend, look out for the release of Nicolas Cage's period action "Season of the Witch" and the expansion of Sony's music drama "Country Strong" starring Garrett Hedlund and Gwyneth Paltrow.

In the end, the "Fockers" were able to hold on to #1 for the second weekend in a row with $26.3 million. Now, it's domestic haul is $103.2 million.
"True Grit" closely followed with $24.5 million to hold the #2 slot for the second-straight weekend, lifting its total to $86.8 million and becoming the top-grossing film ever from directors Joel and Ethan Coen. Their previous best was $74.3 million for "No Country for Old Men."
The #3 film was the same from last weekend -- Disney's sci-fi sequel "Tron: Legacy". It earned $18.3 million, while Dan Aykroyd's family flick "Yogi Bear," climbed on spot to come in fourth with $13 million.
Closing out the top 5 was "The Chronicles of Narnia," earning $10.5 million to take it to $87.1 million after four weeks in theaters.
According to the Associated Press, Hollywood is off to a slow start in 2011, with overall revenues at $158 million, down 28 percent from New Year's weekend a year ago.

Future for Lindsay Lohan is Uncertain
LOS ANGELES — Lindsay Lohan is scheduled to be released from a rehab center Monday into another year of uncertainty.
For months, the actress has been haunted by her inability, or unwillingness, to shake a 3 1/2-year- old drunken driving case that resulted in two rehab stints and two trips to jail in 2010 alone.
A self-acknowledged addict, Lohan remains under investigation for an alleged attack on a rehab worker at the Betty Ford Center and she could land back in jail for six months if charged with misdemeanor battery or another probation violation.
If Lohan remains out of trouble, a judge could relax the terms of her sentence in late February, ending a cycle of court hearings and jail threats that have loomed consistently since May.
After spending three months in treatment programs at Betty Ford, experts say Lohan has a good shot at recovery. Provided, of course, that she wants it, changes her party girl lifestyle and remains in continued therapy.
If a New Year's Day message posted on her Twitter account is any indication, the "Mean Girls" star seems ready to do that. "Today is the first day of the rest of my life," it said. "'The future depends on what we do in the present.' -Mahatma Gandhi... One step at a time..."
It won't be easy, but she has "a fighting chance," says Jeffrey C. Friedman, a substance abuse counselor at Cottonwood Tucson and a recovering heroin addict who has been sober for 24 years. "It would just be a question, is she going to be willing to continue to make the sacrifices she needs to? For all of us, it's a lifelong process."
Rehab and recovery are different for each individual, said Dr. Westley Clark, an addiction medicine psychiatrist at the Substance Abuse and Mental Health Services Administration. He noted that substance abuse can "hijack cognitive functioning" and lead people to make irrational decisions. Similar self-destruction actions are sometimes seen in patients battling diseases such as diabetes and obesity, he said.
"Ultimately, someone who has an alcohol or drug problem has to come to grips with the consequences," Clark said, adding that he could not specifically speak about Lohan's condition.
Dealing with the repercussions of her previous actions won't just confront Lohan in criminal court. She also faces a civil trial in which a woman and three young men accused her of wrongdoing for a high-speed chase that ended with Lohan's arrest in Santa Monica in 2007.
Career-wise, any resurgence appears intertwined with her continued recovery.
Gone is her role as porn star Linda Lovelace in a biopic, and no replacement acting gig has been announced. But those connected with her clothing enterprise say Lohan, 24, will leave rehab poised to spearhead a fall fashion line.
The actress' lawyer and other representatives did not return messages seeking comment on her post-rehab plans.
Even though Lohan hasn't headlined a major film in more than three years, a career comeback isn't out of the question.
"If they forgave Robert Downey Jr., Lindsay should be in the choir compared to him," said J. Michael Flanagan, a high-profile criminal defense attorney. He said he thought Lohan's case had been blown out of proportion, and that she has made it worse for herself by not showing proper respect in court.
"Hollywood is also a recovery town," Friedman said. "There are a lot of people who are out there who are clean and sober. There are 12-step meetings — some that are musician-centered, others that are entertainment-centered.
"They don't publicize it, but it's there."
He said ultimately, it's up to Lohan to want to stay sober.
Her surroundings will be key. "I don't think anybody who is new in recovery has any business going to the clubs," he said.
Stars "generally have an entourage that functions as their primary social support system," Friedman said. The problem, he said, is they also rely on the star for their money and fame. "People like this would be less likely to say anything to Lindsay that would upset her."
A child actor who rose to stardom in Disney films such as "Freaky Friday" and "Herbie Fully Loaded," Lohan is used to everything — including her recovery — taking place in the spotlight.
"It can't be good for you when people are constantly looking over your shoulder and waiting for you to fail and betting you will fail," said Dr. David Friedman, an addiction specialist and associate dean at Wake Forest University. He said it's one of the issues Betty Ford has likely addressed, since stress is often a trigger for relapse.
"One of the things you learn is how to manage your cravings when they arise," Dr. Friedman said.
Relapse is not uncommon, he and other addiction experts said.
"You have to look at it not as a failure of treatment, but as part of learning to manage the disease," Dr. Friedman said. "The standard course of recovery is multiple relapses."
Lohan's personality, which at times has been defiant, will also come into play.
"You can have the greatest intention in the world," Dr. Friedman said," a club is a bad place to be for somebody who's recovering. She really needs to change much of her lifestyle to deal with this effectively."

They’re hot, sexy, stunning and they are ‘Pretty Little Liars’. ABC’s pinch on America’s colorful teen lives was really an eye- candy, and everyone knows that. Pretty Little Liars is a teen drama series airing every Tuesdays at 8:00 Pm on the ABC Family. They’re hot, sexy, stunning and they are ‘Pretty Little Liars’. ABC’s pinch on America’s colorful teen lives was really an eye- candy, and everyone knows that. ABC colors Sara Shepard vividly, “Bookish”, probably, but not the type of canned good that was flavored with obnoxious additives and instigates a cancer that will eats your interest down to the last drop, the reason why people urge to watch Pretty Little Liars. Spencer, Hanna, Aria, and Emily, they were sexy in their own boots and their jeans fit them well. They are really doing the job well, they are not the kind of icons that ages with time.
Anyway, the first wave of ABC’s “Pretty Little Liars” was messing with the televiewers’ excitatory receptors. I really love the show for dragging me in the edge of my seat. Thrills, twist, drama, scandals, it was all baked well by ABC, no doubt it hooks an A+.
Taking a recap on the last episode, it was rant squeezing my brain for a conclusion for that cliff-hanger. Mona’s party was really a bash to summer’s finale. I wonder who really is “A”? Is it Ian? I was freaking bemused already, I am sure that I’m not the only one who’s itching to watch Pretty Little Liars’ next episode to hitch the next drift.

Michael Jackson Autopsy Show Postponed by Discovery Channel
Discovery Channel International has indefinitely postponed the broadcast of a show purporting to re-enact Michael Jackson's autopsy, the company announced Friday.
The company cited the start of hearings next week in the criminal case against Jackson's doctor and a request by the late superstar's estate as reasons for the postponement.
John Branca and John McClain, co-executors of Jackson's estate, accused Discovery of insensitivity toward the singer's family in a letter Wednesday demanding that the company cancel plans for the program.
They said they were especially outraged by an Internet ad for the show, "Michael Jackson's Autopsy," which they described as depicting a corpse on a steel gurney covered by a sheet with a hand sticking out wearing Jackson's signature sequined glove.
Branca and McClain said Friday in a statement that Discovery seemed to be reacting to outrage from Jackson fans, in addition to their own criticisms.
"Discovery Channel made the correct decision in choosing to cancel this exploitative program. We are hopeful that this show will never run in any market in the future," they said.
The company's decision was first reported by celebrity website TMZ.com.
A preliminary hearing is scheduled to begin Tuesday for Jackson's physician, Dr. Conrad Murray, who is charged with involuntary manslaughter, after which a judge will decide if there is sufficient evidence to hold Murray for trial.
The singer died on June 25, 2009, of what was later found to be acute Propofol intoxication, with other sedatives found to have been a contributing factor.
